HANGERS – in order to protect your clothing items we only accept plastic hangers. Find plastic hangers at Wal-Mart, Target, Dollar Stores. Retail plastic hangers are acceptable too.
STRING TAGS – Avery White Marking Tags Strung (size 1.75 x 1.093 inches) are required on each item to affix our barcode labels to. You can find these at Wal-Mart, office supply stores, the Rhea Lana Store or large quantities may be purchased from Amazon.
You’ll also need re-sealable bags (for shoes, small toys, etc…), masking tape, scotch tape, sharpie, and safety pins. For large quantities of quality safety pins we recommend ordering from Cleaners Supply .
If you would like to print your barcodes at home you’ll need adhesive address labels size 1” X 2 5/8” (30 up). We recommend ordering from Amazon Here. Please note: all labels printed at home MUST be printed in color.
The better they look, the better they sell! Please take time to wash and iron your clothes if necessary. Please check for stains, broken zippers, torn hemlines, etc. We will be double checking at the store and will not receive any item that is not in excellent condition.
WE DO LIMIT NEWBORN CLOTHING ITEMS (SIZES 0-9 MONTHS) TO 30 HANGING ITEMS PER GENDOR PER CONSIGNOR, 20 HANGING CLOTHING ITEMS IN JUNIOR (HIGH SCHOOL) SIZES, MATERNITY CLOTHING ITEMS TO 15 ITEMS PER CONSIGNOR. YOU WILL DEFINITELY WANT TO BRING YOUR BEST ITEMS IN THESE CATEGORIES.
Each consignor can bring 250 items total.
Use children's plastic hangers for sizes 10 and below. Use larger plastic hangers for sizes 12 and above. No metal hangers, please! These can snag and tear your items. Plastic hangers can be purchased at discount stores or feel free to use the free plastic hangers you get at some retail stores. This makes shopping more pleasant for everyone!
We will receive FALL & WINTER Children's, Junior, and Maternity clothing for this sale. Winter coats, holiday attire, costumes, backpacks, and sports attire/equipment are big sellers at our Fall & Winter Event!
We will not be accepting swimsuits, sundresses, Easter or Summer holiday themed clothing, sandals, or shirts without sleeves.
Please group items together so that they will equal a value of at least $4.00. They need to be pinned together as well so they don't get separated. Infant sleeping gowns or onesies and children's pajamas are great to group together as a set of 2 or 3. They may be pinned together on one hanger.
All pants must be clipped or pinned to a hanger, not folded over, as they tend to end up on the floor and shoppers want to see the entire pant to purchase.
Safety pin all sets and accessories securely together with pants hung on the back of the shirt. Both pieces need to be viewable without unpinning them. Another good option for outfits is to hang the top and bottom separately and bundle the two hangers together with a rubber band.
We will be accepting like-new shoes and winter boots.
Please save all summer sandals and flip flops until our Spring & Summer Event. We will accept Crocs, Keen's and Natives year round.
First, put your consignor number and price on masking tape on the bottom of both shoes. Then safety pin the price tag to a shoe lace or through the shoe eyelet. Please zip tie the shoes together OR you may put the shoes (with the bar code attached) inside a ziploc bag.
WE WILL NOT ACCEPT SHOES WITH SCUFFED TOES, DIRTY, SMELLY OR DISCOLORED SOLES.
It is best to package a bedding set together in its original clear plastic bag with zipper. If you no longer have the original bag, you can purchase Extra Large Ziploc plastic bags at discount stores. Seal the bag with clear packing tape and pin the string tag to the bag. It also helps to write your consignor number and price on the Ziploc bag with a Sharpie in the case that the tag comes off during the sale. Shoppers also like to see a picture of the set (if one is available) or a list of all the items included in the set. Tape these items inside the Ziploc bag.
PLEASE NOTE, WE ARE NOT LONGER ACCEPTING CRIB BUMPERS.
Hang and pin blankets over hangers so that shoppers can see them. If they are small receiving blankets, group 2 or 3 together in a Ziploc bag and seal with clear plastic tape. Safety pin the tag to the Ziploc bag. It helps to write your consignor number and price on the Ziploc bag with a Sharpie in the case that the string tag comes off during the sale.
Bottles, bibs, rattles, socks, bows, etc group together appropriately in Ziploc bags. Seal with clear packing tape. Pin tag to Ziploc bag. It helps to write your consignor number and price on the Ziploc bag with a Sharpie in the case that the string tag comes off during the sale. We will not accept used nipples or pacifiers - only new, in the package of these items.
Must be clean and in working order (batteries included.)
We will only accept Disney or Build a Bear stuffed animals in like new condition.
Large Little Tikes Toys and Furniture are in high demand! When tagging large toys it is best to also attach a piece of masking tape to the toy with your consignor information. This will enable us to sell your toy even if the tag comes off! We sell 95% of Toys, Furniture and Baby Equipment!
Toy recall information- Due to the high number of toy recalls during the past year, we will be inspecting toys very carefully. We reserve the right to pull any toy that we think might have been recalled. To help us, please do not bring any toys that have been subject to a recall. You may check the following website for current toy recalls: www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/category/toy.html. Your car seats/bases must be less than 5 years old OR within one year of the expiration date on the manufacture sticker. Manufacture sticker is typically found on the bottom or side of the car seat or base. It must not be subject to recall or have been in an accident. You must be the original owner. You may check the following website for current recalls: www.carseat.org/Recalls/179NP.pdf All seat covers and straps must be thoroughly cleaned. You will be asked to sign a car seat waiver at Consignor Drop Off. Car seats will be closely inspected for safety reasons.
Crib Policy - We will NOT accept any cribs manufactured before Dec 31, 2010. For cribs manufactured between Dec 31, 2010, and June 28, 2011, we can accept them if they have a certificate of compliance and have not been recalled. A certificate of compliance would have been included with the purchase of a crib manufactured between 12/31/10 - 6/28/11. The certificate states that the crib met the standards that were going into effect on June 28, 2011. For cribs manufactured after June 28, 2011, we can accept them if they have not been recalled.
